This course covers the fundamentals of TCP/IP, including its diverse features and functions. It also provides details on initiating and terminating TCP/IP, along with an introduction to a range of commands for monitoring and managing both TCP/IP client and server applications.

Audience

Operators, Help Desk staff, and TCP/IP network technicians that need to interact with TCP/IP on a regular basis.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the Interskill Comms – IBM Mainframe Communications Concepts course, or equivalent knowledge.

Objectives

After completing this course, the student will be able to:
