This course contains many JES2-related tips, tricks, techniques and best-practice items that you may find useful in your day-to-day activities. It covers several new areas of functionality associated with recent z/OS releases.
Audience
Senior operators and systems programmers requiring in-depth JES2 knowledge.
Prerequisites
It is assumed that the student has successfully completed all previous JES2 courses in this curricula, or has equivalent knowledge.
Objectives
- After completing this course, the student will be able to describe how job groups are used, and managed, and the JES2 commands used to control them and the jobs within them. They will also be able to describe how duplicate jobs are monitored.
